Welcome to the website of the Nuclear Medicine Department of the Clinic for Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Magdeburg University Hospital!
Our clinic sees itself as a center for a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the highly innovative discipline of nuclear medicine. The close integration with the Department of Radiology enables comprehensive and patient-oriented care that is rarely found anywhere else in Germany.

In addition to the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases of various types and severity, our clinic also deals with neuroscientific, cardiological and oncological issues. Another focus of our work is on state-of-the-art microtherapeutic treatment concepts, which are carried out in collaboration with our colleagues in radiology and radiotherapy. Since January 2012, the integration of a SPECT-CT and a PET-CT into our daily clinical routine has expanded our expertise and thus contributed to an additional improvement in patient care.
